Our family of vendors is growing! Everyone's excited about this year's new site across from the Kemper Musuem of Art near the Plaza, and spots are limited, so get your registration in ASAP!

FAQ — for Vendors
What are the event's hours of operation?
Festival hours are 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
When can I set up my booth?
Vendor setup begins at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 10:30 a.m. All booths must be set up by 10:30 a.m. Please do not arrive earlier than 8:00 a.m. Volunteers will be available to assist you with unloading at 8:30 a.m.
How will I unload and reload my belongings, and where do I park?
Park on Locust St., Pierce St., or E 47th Ter. just east of Theis Park, or in the Ewing & Muriel Kauffman Memorial Garden parking lot. Volunteers will be available to assist you with loading and unloading items from your vehicle. Parking on the grass is prohibited by the City.
How big is my booth space?
Booth spots are 10' x 10' as a standard, with a few 10' x 20' spaces available. Behind each booth is a few additional feet for storing supplies. We offer vendors as much space as possible. Please stay as close to the booth measurement as you can. There are over 50 vendor booths, so it is important for everyone to stay within their designated space.
Do I need to (or can I) bring tables?
We will provide one 8' table and two chairs for each booth. You may bring additional tables if needed, but please do not exceed your booth space, and be sure to put identification on your table(s).
Do I provide my own signage?
Yes, you are responsible for and may bring whatever signage you like, as long as it does not interfere with the booths around you. If you are making items on demand, please post your menus or product lists in a very visible location and update as you sell out of items.
What payment options will I need to prepare?
You are welcome to allow cash and card, or card only. Though you are welcome to accept FinTech solutions like Venmo and Ca$hApp, please choose at least one other option for payment alongside it. If you decide to only collect cash as a form of payment, please post a large sign saying so, and make it visible for people who will be standing at the back of your line.
Will vendors have access to water and ice?
There is drinking water at a booth provided by the City this year, not just for vendors, but for everyone. Please bring your own bottles to fill and refill your water bottles. Let's keep this festival waste free!
We encourage all food vendors to bring as much of their own water as possible. Keep in mind, if you are preparing food onsite or serving open food, you will need water for washing hands and dishes. If you are a food vendor and preparing food at the event, please contact KCMO Health Department for your food permit by calling (816) 513-6008. Food permits are required for all vendors preparing food on site.
What if I have oil disposal needs?
We do not have provisions for hot oil disposal, so any vendors deep frying in oil will be responsible for their own oil disposal. We cannot stress this enough: Please do NOT put oil in trash bins. Please be considerate of others and of Kansas City's beautiful park grounds.
